A place to belong
The goal is to create a welcoming environment for readers, gamers, makers, families, people trying something new and anyone who simply wants a comfortable place to spend time. The strongest version of the Hollow is somewhere people can arrive alone without feeling out of place.
Gather
Book clubs, social meetups, family activities, community groups and newcomer-friendly sessions.
Create
Art and craft workshops, local-maker features, exhibitions, hobby sessions and opportunities to try something new.
Restore
Potential future wellbeing and gentle movement activities such as meditation, guided relaxation, yoga or facilitator-led sessions, subject to suitability and proper safeguards.
Local creators and community partners
The concept includes space for local authors, artists, makers and facilitators. Possible models include consignment, featured shelves, short-term pop-ups, workshops, author sessions and collaborative events. No individual partnership is presented as confirmed until terms and permissions are agreed.
