The Enchanted Hollow is a community-focused concept being shaped around one simple idea: a place where people can come on their own and still feel like they belong.
A little magic, a lot of belonging
The long-term vision is a warm, welcoming destination where books, quality coffee, tabletop gaming, creativity, events and community support each other. The fantasy layer is part of the atmosphere, but the Hollow is intended to welcome people whether they are lifelong fantasy fans or simply looking for somewhere comfortable to browse, meet, make, play or relax.
Books
A genuine bookshop identity with new and selected second-hand books, broad genres, local and Australian authors, independent voices and bookish discoveries.
Games & Creativity
D&D, tabletop and card games, dice, art and craft, maker collaborations and activities that give people reasons to gather and create.
Community
Book clubs, workshops, family activities, social groups, wellbeing sessions, events and flexible spaces — introduced in stages where demand and feasibility support them.
Where the project is now
The Enchanted Hollow is still in planning and validation. Kerang, Swan Hill and the surrounding regional community are being considered as part of that work. The website is the public home for the idea while community feedback, suppliers, costs, premises and the practical opening model are tested.
